Boarding and Grooming Services
At our Princeton facility, heated and air conditioned indoor/outdoor runs are
available. All runs are individual with no direct contact between animals. All
runs are made of sealed concrete with stainless steel doors. In Elk River,
Minnesota, our facility offers boarding in an ultramodern hospital setting. All
animals are boarded in stainless steel kennels and dogs are hand-walked three times
daily. All dogs are required to be current on their vaccinations including the
distemper (DHPP), rabies and Bordetella vaccines. Cats need to be current with
distemper (PRC), rabies and feline leukemia vaccines. All animals are examined for
fleas and ticks upon admission and they are treated if necessary. You may leave (clearly
labeled) favorite items with your pet while boarding. We provide blankets,
towels, food and water dishes and lots of attention! Your pet will be fed an
in-house diet of canine or feline maintenance (dry) food. If you want your pet to be
fed something other than this, please provide the food along with feeding instructions.
You will be presented with a boarding release form on which you will list the items
and belongings accompanying your pet, feeding and medication instructions, and emergency
contact information.Our Elk River and Princeton, MN locations also offer quality grooming
services by groomers with many years of experience. They groom all
breeds of dogs and cats. Grooming prices vary depending
on the breed and/or size of the pet and how extensive a job is required (is the
pet's hair matted or significantly overgrown?, for example). Please call to inquire about these services.

staff handle your pets several times daily during their stay with us. Anything of

Additional boarding services available.
At our Princeton location, we are now offering the
TLC Boarding Package.
This option is in addition to the standard boarding
procedures provided for your pet. This package includes the
owners' choice of a toy from bin, a 15 minute personal playtime with
staff person (this may be in or outdoors, depending on weather), a rug,
bed, matt or blanket to sleep on, 2 treats per day and a vacation diary
to go home.
Please inquire for fees. Charges are assessed per day in addition to
your regular boarding fees.
Additional personal playtime can be purchased in blocks
of 15 minutes.
A bath and nail trim is offered to our boarding
clients for a reduced fee. This includes regular shampoo, blow dry,
and nail trim.
Normal grooming services are offered for your pet
during their stay with Barrington Oaks North Animal Clinic.
