Drs. Dennis and Kim Gallenberg

Armstrong
Ranch Kennels and
Elk River Kennels, providing services to pets while boarding. Every
year, the Gallenbergs participate at the Anoka
Game Fair held at Armstrong Ranch
Kennels. They belong to the
Elk River Chamber
of Commerce and they support and are involved with local activities
such as the annual pet vaccination clinic held at City Hall.

Veterinary Hospital, LLC was founded in
Elk River, Minnesota in
1986 and is located at 710 Dodge Avenue, Suite F. It is a full-service
veterinary hospital providing quality veterinary services for your pets
including preventive care, medical and surgical care and radiology.
Barrington Oaks also provides in-house laboratory testing, dentistry
services and extended hospital care. Boarding and grooming services are
available as well. Barrington Oaks Veterinary Hospital works closely
with the
Elk River
Police Department and serves as the impound facility for the Elk

Clinic is located at 32233 124th Street NW in
Princeton, Minnesota. This
Princeton facility is also a full-service veterinary hospital,
established in 1996 to offer the same level of exceptional veterinary
care to Princeton, Minnesota and surrounding areas.
Our Services
The veterinary services
offered at Barrington Oaks extend beyond cats and dogs as the doctors
and staff also treat and care for birds, reptiles and other exotic
"pocket-pets" such as ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, rats
and hamsters. Routine annual or semi-annual health exams, new-pet
exams, diagnostic laboratory services and husbandry discussions are
important in the proper care and maintenance of these pets. Routine
grooming services such as nail trims, wing and beak trims are also
offered. In addition to comprehensive physical exams, the doctors at
Barrington Oaks offer consultations to address special concerns that you
may have in regards to your pets' behavior.
Barrington Oaks offers a wide variety of services to
accommodate your pet-care needs. In addition to routine examinations,
we offer care in all areas of veterinary medicine. Our doctors work
with experienced professionals in veterinary medicine and surgery to
provide special services and referrals as needed. We schedule ultrasound
procedures and orthopedic surgeries at the Elk River location.
Barrington Oaks radiology services include taking radiographs for the
Orthopedic Foundation of Animals (OFA).
We offer experience and services in the area of reproduction, such as
canine artificial insemination (AI) and cesarean-section surgeries. Our
doctors also offer experience and care in the treatment of elderly pets;
geriatric medicine is one of Dr. Kim Gallenberg's areas of interest and
expertise.
During our hours of operation, we accommodate most
emergencies. For off-hours and holiday emergencies, please see
'emergencies.' We provide overnight and extended hospitalization
services when necessary. We also permit our clients to leave their pets
for the day for routine services and grooming, medical procedures and
observation or day-care.

About the Owners
Barrington Oaks Veterinary Hospital and Barrington Oaks North Animal
Clinic are owned and managed by Drs. Dennis & Kimberly Reed Gallenberg.
The two were classmates at the
University of
Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. They married in 1986 and
Dr. Kim joined Barrington Oaks in 1988. They have one daughter named
Cameron. Dr. Kim has owned and shown
American Saddlebred horses
since 1973. They also have multiple cats, 2 birds and several dogs. Dr.
Dennis Gallenberg enjoys most outdoor activities, reading and working
his chocolate Labradors and Siberian huskies. The family resides,
attends church services and their daughter goes to school in Elk River,
MN.

is a medical services credit card that is available to our clients.
Applications are made at the time of the office visit. Most applicants
with a good credit history will be accepted. Inquire for further
details.
Pet insurance is available for your pets. We
recommend Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI). Please ask a staff
person for information or visit VPI online.
